I can understand and respect the feelings associated with seeking mental health treatment and the hesitation to engage in treatment. I commend you for taking the steps to not only seek out treatment but to also explore which therapist you feel would be best for you. I look forward to taking the next steps with you on your journey as you process the life changes you are facing, trauma you have endured, relationship issues, or any other obstacles or stressors you may be facing.

I have worked with children, teens, and adults. My experience comes from working in a domestic violence/rape crisis center, an inpatient adolescent psychiatric facility, and an outpatient child psychiatric rehabilitation program. I utilize a person-centered approach which means we work collaboratively while you take the lead in exploring your thoughts and feelings. I will walk with you step-by-step through this process as you become empowered to make new choices and to make any necessary changes throughout your journey. As each person’s journey is different a variety of therapeutic techniques will be

utilized which many include cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.

I look forward to working with you.
