LICENSED CLINICAL PROFESSIONAL ART THERAPIST
Think for a moment to yourself about this metaphor: if your mental health wellness was a garden, what would it currently look like? What plants in your garden need more of your attention? Are you having trouble growing newly planted seeds or finding it difficult to tend to overgrown weeds? What is feeling imbalanced? As a mental health counselor and art therapist, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for caregivers, college/masters level students, parents, and creative individuals to express themselves and find a little more balance for their life garden.
My clinical focus is to help increase self-compassion and mindfulness through talk, creative writing, & art making. Many individuals I work with say that they
struggle with codependency, finding the right career path, feeling highly sensitive, imposter syndrome, parenting, relationships/friendships, or issues related to their racial, gender, and sexual identity.
I recognize that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' approach to therapy and find it important to collaborate with each client along the way. Together we can reflect on challenging questions, share a few laughs, and celebrate all that you are doing to be the person you are becoming!
