Nia Willis, LGPAT
LICENSED GRADUATE PROFESSIONAL ART THERAPIST
Art therapy can be a unique and transformative tool to create positive change in one's life. Everyone’s lived experience is unique and exploring your experiences can feel overwhelming. I've worked with clients to address various concerns including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and pain management. I also support adults and children in understanding complex attributes that create one's self-identity.
As an art therapist, I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment for individuals to express themselves to increase their overall sense of well-being. My clinical modality uses art media and creative processes to explore thoughts and feelings, harmonize emotional conflict, manage behavior, foster self-awareness, reduce
anxieties, and increase self-esteem.
As an LGBTQIA+ affirming provider, I know there are various approaches to therapy and I look forward to collaborating with you to meet your goals. Art therapy requires no artistic experience, only an open mind and a willingness to engage in a creative process. Feel free to contact me and I’d be happy to answer any questions.
