Let’s be honest, starting the search for a therapist can be grueling and finding the right therapist can be even harder. I work with individuals & families 10+ specializing in issues relating to trauma (PTSD/C-PTSD), transracial/international adoption, cancer-related illnesses, LGBTQ+, behavior change, and Neurodivergence (ADHD). My clients enter therapy open to change and ready to learn new skills in hopes of striving for personal growth and exploration.
Using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, and lived experiences, I collaborate with my clients to regain control over their lives and heal from trauma. By strengthening the mind-body connection, clients learn how to regulate their nervous system and turn off the fight-flight response.
I am a human before I am a therapist. I believe that transparency between client and therapist is a key element in establishing a strong therapeutic relationship. I will laugh with you and also challenge you to face the hard stuff when needed. Outside of my clinical work, you can find me in nature, reading, powerlifting, connecting with friends, and watching my favorite TV shows.
