LICENSED GRADUATE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR

Hey there! I’m so glad you’re here. Seeking out therapy shows a brave desire to explore, confront, heal, and grow — and you are so worthy of finding a safe person who can facilitate that for you.

I use a holistic, person-centered approach to connect with individuals, couples, and families ages 10+. I adapt therapy to meet you where you’re at and to help you uncover and empower your inner voice. My therapeutic style is primarily informed by mindfulness-based approaches such as ACT and DBT as well as here-and-now interpersonal techniques. This means that our sessions might look like fostering non-judgment and self-acceptance of emotions/experiences, using honesty and challenge within the therapeutic relationship as a catalyst for change, and finding more helpful and compassionate ways of thinking and being.

I also specialize in culturally responsive therapy and working with those who are people of color, LGBTQ+, or children of immigrants. I believe all people exist within interlocking systems where our environments, identities, and histories deeply impact our psyche. The mind-body connection and community care are valuable pathways to healing, and it’s important to understand the ways in which Western psychology has both appropriated and suppressed non-Western healing practices. I encourage artistic expression, spirituality, and somatic work using movement and breath as therapeutic practices if they feel right for the client.

Together, we can find ways to cultivate joy and hope while also holding space for painful emotions and experiences. Whenever you’re feeling ready, let’s get started.
