Outpatient Plus

for Adolescents

Outpatient Plus is a holistic and collaborative treatment program for teenagers, blending individual, family, and group therapy with medication management as needed. This approach is specifically designed for adolescents with significant mental health challenges, providing a level of support that goes beyond standard weekly sessions, all managed by a dedicated team.

  • Teens (12 to 17 y.o.) who could benefit from more than 1 therapy session a week and the support of a collaborative therapeutic team. Teens who experience self-harm or suicidal ideations are encouraged to consider this level of care.

  • All clients entering the program are set up with an individual therapist, a family therapist and introduced to the weekly peer group. Frequency of individual and family sessions depend on the individualized needs of each client. Family sessions might consist of parents, siblings, parents and child, or the whole family.

    Additionally, the clinical team meets weekly and communicates daily to coordinate care amongst our staff. If your teenager is seeing a provider outside of Pivot Point, they will be contacted weekly as well. Additional case management services, such as coordination with schools and family consultations throughout the week are covered.

  • Striving for affordability, we utilize your insurance benefits whenever possible for our services, billing directly through your insurance based on your policy. Patient responsibilities are dictated by specific insurance benefits, so it’s best to contact your insurance to ask about any deductibles and copays/co-insurance.

    While our monthly Programming Fee, crucial for providing top-tier clinical care to your child and family, is not covered by insurance, it ensures access to group programming, case management, and seamless coordination with external providers and families, facilitating comprehensive and dedicated support for each individual's treatment journey.

    If your insurance is not listed, we courtesy bill on your behalf to take the paperwork out of it for you.
