Life can be challenging at times! It is often through these most challenging moments that we learn and grow into the people we are meant to be. I would love to help guide you during these momentous occasions of change. Recognizing our difficulties, acknowledging our desires to change, and applying the appropriate coping skills can help guide us through life’s challenging transitions.
We all have a story to tell, therefore I enjoy using the narrative approach to therapy to best understand each person’s life experiences and values. I also incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy in establishing goals and gently guiding unhealthy patterns of thinking. I believe it is also important to recognize and validate each person’s feelings through a state of mindfulness. Working together, I believe positive change is always possible!
My focus is in working with teens and adults of all ages who may experience anxiety, stressful life experiences, trauma, and those suffering with substance use disorders.
